This is an oldie (sort of) but goodie, a design from 2010 by designer Sara Rohale Asghar, which I really like because of the brocadey-type kameez and the rich green bottoms. Although the two designs are not exactly the same, there are a lot of similarities between the two in terms of fabric and cut. I love the rich, deep colours of these two designs though, they look elegant and very wearable. The first outfit, as a high-collar kameez with rich green trousers looks very stylish, and looks like something which would look slimming, as well as quite modest (I especially like the fitted, long sleeves!). The second style is more in line with current trends, with a long A-line top and a simpler lengha, which looks a bit more dressier, but would also look more flattering for different body shapes.
I'm a big fan of brocade materials when it's done right, and in these colours and cuts, I think these designs look great - I also like the fact that even though the top part is black and gold, it doesn't look dull at all, and doesn't need a lot of accessorising to make it look glamorous.
What do you think of this outfit? Would you go for these colours together?
